I had 20 thousands shaved off my head on my 7mge and want to put on a thick forgiving graphite head gasket (2.0mm-3.0mm) before torque down to cover the space between head and block. Any suggestions PLEASE!!

When they say to make sure u machined the inner timing cover. They mean when u work the block right? The head on my 7mge was machined. 20 thousands taken off. The block was left alone.
