    struts on a 89

    alright so im doing the struts on my supra and i noticed when i went to go pick up the new ones they have no plate to hold the spring so i guess my question is does the plate that holds it come off or what?

    alright so when i punch it the car seems fine till 4,000 rpms then it seems as if it has a governor on it, i dont know for sure yet but if i casually drive it, it will shift to all gears. i dont know really how to describe but hopefully i can find some kind of answer i have no idea about...

    just purchased a 89 toyota supra non turbo, but still a great car.. only problem im having is finding the power steering leak.. and needing to put on some new struts .. oh and a new paint job! :) oh and can anyone tell me where i can find a 3 piece spoiler?
