So for the last week I've been swapping out the headgasket. Get a newer head get it machined arp studs yada yada yada. I get it all back together and I see water coming from under the intake manifold. I can't really tell where it's coming from. It stared pouring out as I filled the radiator...
So I get the head off this weekend and examine the headgasket. First it's metal and that shocks me after closer examination it doesn't look bad or damaged. Is it possible for the head to be so warped that that causes a bhg and not the actual gasket blowing? I'm thinking about reusing this...
This is a newb question I'm sure, but can someone tell me the difference between ARP heads and studs? Do they perform the same function? If so which is better?
I read this and it helps a little, but which is better for the 7M?
