My 1jz supra started having problems today and the cel came on. Problem is it won;t let me pull the codes. When I jump te1 and e1 nothing happens, just a solid cel. Any ideas of what to start checking?

I am more concerned with the brake lights first unless they are directly related. I bypassed the tail light indicator thing in the trunck and pulled out the brake light switch and need to know what the 4 wire come and go from it. I got the car and lots of thing don't work. would for someone like...
