i think these two statements sum up what is needed to get you into the 11's.

if you dont have the above tools, which you should, then you could put a long screw driver in there to hold it while you wrench the bolt loose.

i have the Haynes, has helped me some. but mostly i use the online tsrm.

oh, okay. all i can say is that if i ever have to replace my clutch/fw again, i am just gonna pull the motor out complete to do it. it was to much of a PITA with the motor in the car and me not having access to a lift.

i did 14.7 at 95.9 mph with K&N, DDP, testpipe, no cat. back, XTD Clutch/FW and all season tires. i was running with a boost leak also and the beginnings of a BHG.

i agree 100% with jdub. i did 6 years active duty as Security Forces (like MPs) and had a great time. it was hard at times, but the life long friends you will meet make it worth it. i say go for it, you will learn a valuable skill and get some structure in your life. good luck.
