I'll bet you your car it isn't. it *Might* be the thickness of the hose wall, but the hose diameter is NOT 8mm. And IJ, for a 25mm od that'd be a 2.5mm wall thickness- shouldn't he go considerably thicker than that (assuming rubber hose and not braided) especially if he's going to be racing...
