What did you pay for paint work?

I think he meant trim remove and reinstall, not replace.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

So today, i spent a bit of time creating some supports for the rear deck cover. Being that it sits about a half inch higher than it used to , I needed to make 1/2" posts to support it, otherwise the hinges would take all of the weight if I were to put anything heavy back there. Here you can...

Kali- I assume you have an electric radiator fan? It's just that I can't see it, and you're missing the factory fan and shroud.

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

I'm just hoping that the DG500 is at least as "TCCS friendly" as the IS300 seems to be.

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

I sent GrimReaper an is300 coil and some dg500 coils, for testing. Hopefully he'll have some interesting performance info for us next week.

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

So today, all I did was pull the fan motor housing, to make sure it was clean. It was, but the top seal was a bit dried out, so I replaced it, along with a new blower resistor. Then I reinstalled the AC core, and reconnected the lines. Next, I want to vacuum the lines, to...

    Here's a question, go figure right.lol

I think of a 'dump' as the wastegate exit. if that gas doesn't return to the exhaust(aka- dumped), that's less turbulence and backpressure in the piping. Any hole in the exhaust post wastegate is just a reduction of gas in the entire exhaust. Is it a performance increase? Prolly not.

Thank you sir may I have another...

Glad to see you're still improving the ride. Not sure if I'd want to go back to a completely stock ride height and 16" rims, but I wouldn't say i'm a 'hater' of your plan, either. Have you considered 17" mkIV rims? I think they look really good, yet respect the stock Toyota appearance.

Cold start missfire 2000rpm with video

One of the temp sensors at the thermostat neck is responsible for telling the ecu that it's at the proper temp for closed loop. Maybe that's bad? Or your cold start injection circuit? Just thinking out loud.

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

I officially proclaim this thread....dead. At least as far as the chances for a production mounting plate. Hey Morganson- Would you have a decent fitting phenolic plate that I could buy off you? Seems like the next best option. I just got my connector clips in, so I'll be making the harness...

    code 34 sudden issues

and yet he states that he does see 18psi...and he's already mentioned that he has a DM 11psi wastegate installed. sounds to me like the wastegate is the problem.

mustangmatt98's '87 black turbo build thread

Your oil cap and pcv ports seem to show bhg milkshake. That mean water got in the oil. That means the bearings were exposed to it. Your call. you might get lucky and not have any bearing issues. But it's a big gamble, labor-wise.

    Under dash re-bar removal

I used a sponge pad type of sanding block on mine this week. Its just a powdery surface rust, after all. Then i painted mine with a spray can of metallic silver wheel paint Why? Because it was a full can of paint that i was never gonna use on wheels, lol. Came out awesome.
