i say take the impeller off and get it powdercoated, or coat it in a rustproofing material.
like everyone said, it'll rust if exposed to the wrong conditions but it should last a pretty long time.

seriously, its not much of an improvement but i have pics of the build.
in addition to that, check vin numbers. some NAs (including mine) didnt have the sport package but did have the lsd. i don't think it was a dealership option because the vin shows an lsd (should be the number 5 somewhere in the vin, search on the forums for location).
i had a bad case of mono last year, along with cmv (virus similar to mono). laid up in the hospital from dec 31 to jan 5. i was on morphine the whole time, so i dont really remember much.
oh you bet i grease my monkey.
only thing i havent touched is the power steering rack. had a shop do that for me cause i had just a few days to get it inspected.
that and the bodywork i leave to a trusted body shop. everything else happens in my basement.
