so i have the 52 code. so checked out where the knock sensors would be and i found one in good condition and the other...laying there....
so i figure that was once in here...?
where do i got from here? buy a new knock sensor and replace it from the wire and from the block and then...
yeah i got the same situation. its supposedly the TPS for 51 and the knock sensor for 52, generally. im not sure if my tps was maladjusted somehow, but after taking it off and all this crap...i recalibrated it(like two days ago..) i have yet to clear and check the codes again, but did notice...
so does the knock sensor ever have a big effect on performance? i've had the code for a while..i cleared it and got it again..and my car really doesnt seem to be running as hard as it should be? could it be the knock sensor? could it be the tps sensor too? cuz i don't think i adjusted that...
nice. thanx guys. thats what i was lookin for. but in black. white looks a little ricey. i think ill find some mesh elsewhere. a hundred bux is pricey for some mesh. thanx again
does anyone have the older front with the larger grill without the split in the middle meshed? i thought maybe i could throw some mesh into the grill in place of that plastic crap but wanna see how it worked out for people.
thanx
unfortunatly for me, the previous owner of this car was some stupid bitch from the dirty roads of upstate new york, which just makes doing almost everything a bigger challenge
so i started goin at the back bumper bolts, and i snapped like four of them and only got one out after trenching them with powerlube. bah...should i just snap them out if they won't come out the right way and drill and retread the holes afterwards?
anyone have any tips for the removal of both the front and rear bumper and the nose piece? im taking it off, preping it and repainting it. is it hard to take these guys off? there a tuturial lurking somewhere?any help is appreciated
thanx
its an 88 by the way

i know it could just be sent in a taped up envelope.
