They came out in 06, but they are all 07 models. Even the TRD Cold Air intake for the Tacoma works on the FJ.

2007 is the first year. The engine/drivetrain is basically entirely out of a Tacoma, so I wouldn't really consider it a first-year vehicle. They're pretty good vehicles, but I really don't care for the way they look. I wish we still had the Land Cruiser 70 series like other countries do. BJ42...

Headlight washers were on all 87-88 Turbos in the USA. Optional (sport package) on 86.5-88 N/A's in the USA. Weren't available on 89+ models in the USA. Same deal for Canada except we kept getting them on 89-92 models as well.
