If you want to keep the 88 tail lights but want the newer trim, the only way to do it 100% OEM is to get the rear centre piece from a car in Switzerland. That's what I did. 4 years later and it's still not on the car yet... :(

Yup, that is a general statement, and not 100% accurate. 4J7 had colour matched trim in 89. In fact, 89 was the only year with 4J7.

That's why I say a new quarter panel is the way to go, only spot welds mean least amount of deformation of the metal and least amount of bodywork.

If it was my car, the only option I would consider is to replace the quarter panel (IMO).

All MA70's have heated mirrors. Also JZA80's in Canada had heated mirrors, I don't believe USA ones did ever (though I haven't checked in a while).

The header panel NEVER changed. Yes, if you take off the "T" logo you can put the badge on, and yes, you can put the newer logo on the older cars, without modification. I'll check price today at work. Jeff

Not all MA61 badges said "Celica Supra" some just said "Supra", but regardless, it sounds like you're missing something.

All the nose panels are the same 86-92, even for ones with th Toyota emblem. I'd venture a guess your badge is probably from an MA61 if it doesn't fit correctly.

New Civics still look stupid, well the 4-doors do, the 2-doors look all right.

It looks pretty nice, but I think the 07's had a much nicer look. The 08's are probably a better car, but exterior styling goes to the 07 for me.
