Go with a black shift boot and a TRD knob, it will look good in your tan interior. Toyota switched it to black for 89+ and I think it looks better, regardless of the rest of the interior's colour. That part of the console is black already, so having the shifter interior-coloured looks goofy to...
I still remember the complete VIN.... I don't remember it for the Supra, but I know it for my AE86, my AZE141 and my brother's JZA80... not sure why I don't know the MA70's....
strange.

What were the alignment readings when you took the car there, and how close to spec was he able to adjust the camber?
Even if he can't get it perfect, it should be a lot closer than when you first brought it, if not something must be damaged (car or mechanic).

Way too many people to list, I know I'll miss a lot so I'll just mention a couple off the top of my head. Dr.Jonez, Bishop92T, and so many others. Those are the 2 that came to mind first, so I'll just list them ;). They were around on the forums before I was, and so they're some of my first...
Sounds like it has an external amp, so it's got a different connector, but it should have the 2 connectors somewhere else in the dash there. If you're trying to use an aftermarket stereo that is.
If you want to use the factory stereo, it's junkyard diving time.

EDIT: It's an 87 MR2...
Torque curve should be the same no matter what gear you're in. Torque applied to the dyno will be higher, but speed will be lower, hence making power the same. I doubt they go off of your tach to get an engine speed, they should be reading it directly from the engine.
My previous post didn't...
Technically speaking the power you make doesn't change based on gearing, only the final torque output, but since most Supras that dyno are turbocharged, higher load will result in more boost.
Power is calculated based on engine speed and torque, engine torque is calculated based on the torque...
Actually, I plan on going again this year, if all works out well. My brother just bought a silver MKIV and we're planning on taking that down!
PS: I'm not dead, just busy. I'll try to be around more!
