No, it was blue, and I think he lives in North Carolina. The guy that works for Titan (I forget his name, I've never met him) that has a Maroon 2J, as does Randy. All three are very clean swaps and all around very nice MKIII's.
LOL, I won't let any names slip out. You'll be happy to know that of the MKIII's a 2J took top HP (but was disqualified for some reason), then came a 1J that made 515rwhp, followed by a 7M (F&H Performances) with 480ish rwhp.
J series stole the day.
I can't understand the dog-eat-dog attitude within the MKIII community. God forbid that you decide to (or decided not to) swap in a motor that someone else doesn't like, then your car has turned into a piece of shit & you sold your soul.

Another quick question. Were all of the 1J's that were mated to R154's put into Supras? I inquired about a motor set, but the guy didn't know what it was in. If it didn't come out of a supra, what kind of added problems would I face trying to put it in my car?
Thanks. I like the idea of having timing control & direct injector control, plus it's not that much more than a SAFCII. Well, I should say that it's well within my price range and it leaves room to grow.
