When you absolutely, positively have to have the best quality 1JZ clip in the USA, you gotta buy from Jarco - or your buddy, whose 1JZ swap was rear-ended?
If you do as The Boss says, shouldn't be too hard to get the pan off and FIPG the thing..
..if you can just get your hands on a good jack, some chocks for the rear wheels, and some jack-stands for keeping the front off the ground.
I was going to ask about that - seems they haven't updated their pics in a year at the very LEAST. I remember seeing the same 2JZ front clip on that site when they first opened it...
Twin-charging is not really a new thing - it's just new to some engines.
The 4A-GZE was the AW11 MR2's Supercharged engine. Well, HKS had a twincharger kit for it.
There was also the time Turbo magazine got a SW20 MR2, put a 1MZ-FE [Lexus 3.0L I-6] in there [which ironically, fit in the...
Wait, what's this?
BADASS!!! THAT'S what it is..
2JZ-GTE VVTi with big turbocharger, AND.. what's that belt-driven thing down there below the turbo? Supercharger? Who dat? Me dat.
I'd love to see that thing run.

Dude.. I ride my bicycle to work.
The Supra is a grocery-getter. We never go anywhere. I am broke TRYING to get a 2JZ swap completed. When it's complete, I'm going to be broke WORSE from buying gas, 'cause I am going to drive the piss out of it..
The stock turbo LSD is 3.73:1 - this makes for a higher top speed and "taller gears", but you will take off faster with a 4.11 or 4.30 diff, if you can get your hands on one.
Dammit.. his Supra better not be totaled. If he has flood damage he might be able to drain and salvage most of it, then put it back together.
Shit.. my 1/2 sister lived in Slidell a few years back. I haven't talked to her in a LONG time. She's an adult now - hopefully in college far away from...
Yes, they are supposed to have badging that says "2.5 TwinTurbo R" where normal JZA70s have "2.5 TwinTurbo" and MA70s have "Turbo" on the rear left moulding.
The steering wheel will look like the picture below. Note that the center piece with the Momo horn button may or may not be installed...
