    the hunt begins

You can also get a simple ignition with a key at an auto parts store. It's not free, but it's still cheap and offers at least a LITTLE "security".

    So my sister is pregnant...

If you don't care about them and worry about identity fraud, how about having your name and social security number legally changed?

    So my sister is pregnant...

Yeah, it's like on "The Wedding Singer" "That's right, Robbie. You have to let it out, man." "Let what out?" "Your feelings, you know, about what that lousy bitch did to you today." "Don't call her that 'cause we're gonna get back together and then there's gonna be weirdness between you...

    Today I became a civilian

I could do it, but I wouldn't feel good about that part of the job at the end of the day. The good thing would be that you know someday, someone will use something you teach them, and it will save their life. I started my cross-training paperwork today - first on the list was reading and...

Get more tools. Buy a screwdriver with deeper grooves. Spend like $20 and get an assortment of screwdrivers, or get a magnetic screwdriver with removable/replaceable phillips apex bits of different sizes.

Official Whine About Your Unreliable 7M Thread

A few things bothered me for awhile - popping off IC hoses when pushing 13psi during a little race here or there will piss me off, especially when it gives me enough time to jump ahead ALOT - FAST and then POOF!...check engine light. So now the 300ZX just walks away since you simply have NO...

    Today I became a civilian

August made 8 years in the Air Force for me. On November 8th I will have 1 year left. I want to stay in, but CJRs [career job reservation] are hard to get, which is forcing many people in my career field to cross-train or get out. I may cross train - there are a few jobs out there which interest...

    Ingrates!

To tell you guys the truth, all of the inter-service bashing that was in the 70's through the 90's is starting to go away. The services have found that victory is achieved multiples faster when we work together in coordination. A big example of this was when the Gulf War kicked off; Army attack...

    1JZGTE Vs 1JZGTTE

Make sure your front clip is COMPLETE, as in "Jarco complete" - aside from obviously wanting all of the engine parts, you want everything else, including your dash, center console and the shifter surround.

You are wrong - the Air Force calls the guys at my base, who works with the Army. They kick the doors in, and if they encounter resistance, they call our gunship to level the place. Read up on Air Force Special Operations Command - we do more than the conventional "chair force".

    bigger FMIC= hesitation under WOT

Sounds like a leak in your hose going to your wastegate actuator, or a faulty wastegate causing you to overboost.

What in the hell is that?

This is interesting - I saw that a long time ago, and messed with it. I pulled it a little, and it doesn't seem like it is set in there firmly. I thought maybe it was a sensor for part of my aftermarket alarm [installed before I bought the car]. Goot to know! But you would think that Toyota...

    Toyota Suprarreal

The '06 IS350 is a 3.5L 300+ hp car with 270+ ft-lbs of torque. It actually looks pretty decent, too. It's no "Super Car" like the GT40 or Viper, but it has more guts than most Lexus models.

    Intersting read...

Man was made in the image of a perfect god, but man is not perfect. Man was born into sin. Among these sins are blasphemy. Man can be very generous, and yet is also capable of being very greedy. By greedy, I mean that he may not live by the "good book" because it's not an easy way of life and...

    if the supra didnt exist...

Another car I thought about was an older NSX. They are great handling and absolutely beautiful cars, even if they don't have very high hp/tq numbers. You can even get a targa model, which is one thing that Supra owners seem to love about our cars. Although they are insanely expensive at the time...
