    New GTI Comercials....

In the past couple years, I've heard that fast also likes huge park-bench wings, super aerodynamic $400 full body kits, full gauge suites no matter the vehicle's aspiration, neon and intakes that look like intercoolers. I bet the feminists love seeing a guy tell a woman to shut her yap on TV...

Clutch problems only at increased Boost???????????

This is very common. My clutch gave out after I installed my boost controller and pushed the boost up. It would give out just before I hit full boost [11-ish psi] and my revs would shoot through the roof, but I would be going nowhere. This is a sign that you NEED a new clutch, and you are going...

    Oh My. R.I.P Chuck Norris

I actually read less of the Chuck Norris funnies - I saw the random generator for Mr. T and they are just as funny. It cuts through the jibba-jabba. There was one on there about "Every time a bell rings, Mr. T pities another fool". There are many Star Wars references, and there are always Chuck...

Take it for whats its worth, but THIS is the future

Coding for brain waves and separating regular body function from imagery created in the mind sounds difficult. Find a neural impulse translator. Pfft.. and some people used to think that digital to analog conversion was tough!

    Oh My. R.I.P Chuck Norris

Man, I just started playing World of Warcraft on the server "Laughing Skull" and Chuck Norris chat is very common in some areas of the land, especially in "The Barrens".

    A342 / 7MGTE discussions

Actually, the MkIV tranny is the A340E - it's the same as the MkIII Auto transmissions, except with a different output shaft, one more clutch pack and more fluid capacity. The A342 is supposedly a one-off for the 1JZ. Still, they must all be from the same family. It's great to see innovation...

    Microtech LT12 in 1JZ?

You also may be able to find an Apexi Power FC for a 1JZ. Those are "pretty cheap" [around $1000] and easy to use as well with the "Power FC commander", as far as stand-alones go.

    Injectors for my 1jz

If you use US spec 550s, don't you need the resistor pack from a US spec 2JZ-GTE? The US spec ones are low impedance, and the 1JZ uses high impedance injectors.

    Clutches For 1j?

If you are using the R154 transmission, you use a clutch for the R154, or 5-speed turbo Supra. It depends on what tranny you are using.

    how many hp

As long as you can tune it, you are probably good for around 450-500hp. I don't know what the HKS turbines are capable of, but I thought the sport tubine kits were good for over 400. You have enough fuel for about 500hp.

    What's this?

A70s can do it all. We may be heavy, but we can break tires loose for drifting. People also say that rallying is for Alltracs and Scoobies, but the A70 filled in for a year before the ST165 was put into place.

why do people buy cheep intercoolers ?

$1000 for a HKS Type S [their smaller IC!!!] or $200-$300 and what Aaron described as another 1/32" movement on your wastegate controller. That extra $800 isn't justified for vehicle specific mounting tabs.

why do people buy cheep intercoolers ?

More metal : stronger, but will heat-soak and not cool as efficiently Less metal : weaker; hot/cold cycles may cause cracks in weak/thin sections and near welds. Better heat/cooling transfer though.. The trick is to get the right thickness. Fin density is important as well, but the difference...

You have got to see this!!!

And yes, twin-charging is nothing new. HKS had a twin-charging kit for the supercharged 4A-GZE out of the AW11 MR2. Blitz had a pulley kit for it as well.

Are there any cool dinosaur museums in California?

There HAS to be. Remember in that movie "The Wizard" with Fred Savage, where his character had a mentally handicapped little brother Jimmy? He was always screaming about "California!" and he wanted to go see the dinosaurs. It turned out to be a park with a bunch of huge dinosaur statues. If...
