Did it start with the tire and rim swap? Usually balance comes in at a certain speed and leaves by another. Not progressively worse. Maybe a driveshaft problem, hub and bearing, or they still arent balanced right.
Make sure the selector is in the correct position on the trans itself. If the nut comes loose, it can be difficult.

Sounds like there is a small leak, which has caused air to get into the lines. If you had a bad master cylinder, the pedal would sink when you were holding it, and you said it didnt.
If it wont move, you might need to take out the tranny. The shift lock may have come undone, and now the rods and forks cant move. Shift lock is just groves cut into the rods so you cant be in two gears at once.
You unbolt it from the top and bottom. Hold the top bolt, and turn the nut. Then the bottom. It will fall out after you remove the bolts and loosen it.
If the car will just barely turn over, it sounds more like a discharged battery. If it isnt, and all connections are good, it could be a bad starter with high resistance.

Overdrive on or off wont hurt your speed in the quarter. You wont upshift at WOT unless you hit the programmed shift point. And that is all ECT does, is change the shift point a little higher.
A new stock headgasket has also proven to hold 500 horsepower when the rest of the car is up to the task. Many lost were improperly repaired the first time. Keep that in mind.
