    Aristo Twins on 1JZ

hmm, I never knew that. The exhaust manifold flanges are the same on the turbos, it's just a question of wether the downpipe flange looks like this on the aristo turbos.

stock 1jz injectors and a single?

My car made 315whp at stock boost (at about 7k), 12.5:1 A/F, and hit 90% duty cycle at 7500. no idea what the fuel pressure was though, I think about 35-40psi base.

    getting rid of governor

The CEL is on all the time because the ECU is not getting a signal. The only other thing that you lose is the progressive power steering. The car will not lean out. Fuel is rpm related, not speed related. If you don't lean out at 7k in first, you wont in 5th either.

JZA70 vs MA70 exhaust different lengths?

I tried to put my BIC test pipe onto my JZA70 today, and found that it was an inch too short. I was under the impression that the two cars shared the same exhaust? Or is is just the same from the cat back? Whatever it is, my stock cat is about 12 1/2" long, while the test pipe is 11 1/2"...

    running issue

I don't know the part number, but you can get the 2JZ coil connectors at the dealership. They're a new design over the 1JZ ones, and clip in much tighter. Plus, all 6 are <$50

so what really wrong with the 1g-gte?

Celicas were RWD for the first what, 10 years of their existance? I don't know, the 1G would be an interesting motor, if there wasn't the 1JZ sitting beside it that says "get this instead" written all over it. From what I've heard, the 1G is a damn strong motor (like JZ strong). I'm not sure...

    running issue

I would look closely at the connectors going to the coils, especially on #1 if it's misfiring. If they're damaged in ANY way, replace them all.

How does everyone run their RCA's and Power to Amp/Sub in rear...

It's a manual transmission, there's no electricity moving through it to cause a magnetic field to interfere with the signals. With an auto, some of the solenoids in it could very well cause interferance.

Can't Get Headunit Out - Help!

If the previous owner was smart, he would have not used the sliding shell that comes with the head unit, and bolted the unit right to the mounting brackets. Take a look around the opening, and you will see 4 black bolts with a 10mm hex head, and phillips screw head. Take the bolts out, and...

    Teh prelude they never showed!!!

oh, about the left handed shaking thing... in midevil times, most people were right handed (duh), so they carried a sword in their right hand, and a shield in their left. Shaking with the left hand means that they have put down their shield, as a sign of trust towards the other party.

    Best invention ever.

I didn't invent the concept, I just built the device. I needed a way to keep 2 kegs worth of beer cold for 10 days for a camping trip last summer. The solution? Cool it as you pour. I recently pulled it out of storage, as it's the last day of our classes on friday, and I am having...
