That's really not bad at all, considering just how much a ported 2j head flows... Still haven't heard back from the OP on what sort of power level or intended use of the car he's going for here. That will help clear things up quite a bit.

Try rev matching sometime. :) Sounds like there might be something off with your clutch adjustment though, hopefully someone with some experience there can chime in.

I believe the difference between the Supras and the Soarer R154 was the shifter housing extension being of different lengths. If you don't find your answer on here, Club Lexus might have more info on the topic.
