I was having a similar problem myself, turned out I had numerous vacuum leaks, sealing those improved the idle alot. Though a number of other things were fixed at the same time (new fuel pressure regulator, new fuel rail, new spark plugs). So you might want to check any of those areas out...

I like the way it looks going over the motor personally, but thats me I suppose. Anyway though, what I've been thinking of doing is just getting some polished type ic piping and keeping the 3000 pipe, maybe paint the letters in "3000" blue too, I though that might be a nice little touch.

Well I got a chance to check out my engine and things today, found the power steering leak, its down near the front end of the car like...I'm not sure how to describe where it is but I know where it is now. I didnt get a chance to check the CPS thing yet, but I will probably look at it...

Well I think I've ruled out coolant at this point, my radiator is full and I'm not having any overheating isssues at all. But I'm going to get a chance to get it up on a lift tomorrow and at that point I'll check out a bunch of things from top and bottom.

Interesting, the power steering is whats on the bottom, and idea as to where that might be leaking? I'll give a harder look later this week, but it couldnt hurt to know if there is a common spot for it to leak. And I'll also check out the CPS more closely that I can just from the top on...

Well I may have located the problem. Unfortuatly I think its an oil problem. I was looking over my car again (and did get a chance to check my coolant by the way, it was full and green) and checked the oil, and found out it was low, which was wierd since I though it wouldnt need to be filled...

p/s as in power steering? I havent noticed any problem with my power steering and I havent filled it since I got the car.

Also something I was thinking about was, is it really a 92? If they are so rare the chances might be higher of it being a fake. I know with my car the guy said it was an 89, and it looked so due to the body panels and such but the vin number revealed it as being an 86.5 with a 7m-gte engine...
