    Toyota Select Fit Bearings

Got it - EM-70, looking at the chart. So... just to get this all straight in my head: 1) Remove Engine & Trans, split, mount engine on stand. 2) Mount engine on stand - remove spark plugs, spin upside down 3) Crack off sump & remove oil pump 4) Remove Rod Cap by cracking off and removing the...

Thanks Ian :) As for the crankpin measurement...erm...where am i looking, and is it detailed in the TSRM?

    Toyota Select Fit Bearings

Okay...so...the daily driver is still pootling around perfectly fine except the constant bother of looking over at the oil pressure gauge and seeing 'low pressure' at hot idle. Now, it's within spec still, but not by much. I'm getting roughly 11.5psi per 1000rpm, according to my EXTERNAL Snap-On...

    7M meet Technology!

Thought i'd throw this in for good measure, as you all know what the Group A Head setup looks like, and the stocker - so here's the "half-way house" version by TRD:

    37k = phone bill??

Its all about personal responsibility. While i'll admit there are a few people that genuinely get fucked over for a buck, in this case - the customer was simply an IDIOT. I have a UK cellphone, despite being in France. However, it's a pay-as-you-go SIM only plan. I own the phone outright, and...

1990 Toyota Supra Turbo Buildup - Satans Little Helper...

Yep - that exact same one. The water feed - well when you bolt it on, both lines point INTO the cylinder head at a 45 degree angle - so you can't fit the lines unless you heat up and bend the 'stalks' with the -AN connectors on. With the Oil Feed/Drain - the drain is fine - although you have to...

    RM216 Repair Manual

As far as i'm aware, this is hard to get hold of in paper format, so, i have here the RM216 PDF for the A340E/F/H. http://kai.robinson.free.fr/dropbox/Supra/A340%20Series%20Repair%20Manual%20(RM216).pdf It's a lot more 'in-depth' than the AT section in the TSRM, some of you might find this...

    Turbo replacement parts list?

Should be the same - they both use the 1UZ-FE engine. The one i have is marked: 90915-20004 (substitute for 90915-03005 & 90915-20002). It's actually made in Japan, too! :)

    Turbo replacement parts list?

Make sure you have the CT26 side gaskets for the water and oil feeds/drains, and the ones that connect those feeds/drains to the block. One gasket each for the turbo side, one gasket from oil drain to block, and two crush washers from oil feed banjo to block. And yes, it might be an idea to...

1990 Toyota Supra Turbo Buildup - Satans Little Helper...

No, the lines themselves are fine, but the adaptor plates aren't designed for the supra at all, but would fit an mr2 or landcruiser. I've been working on something in solidworks, but I think the only place for the oil drain/feed is ARZ Performance or driftmotion - either way, expensive, and...

1990 Toyota Supra Turbo Buildup - Satans Little Helper...

More fiddling today - this time - refitting the dashboard! Unfortunately, despite fitting it - i'm going to have to take it back out soon - as there are two bulbs that have gone pop :( Still - its not massively important, as I can still see the speedo :D I need to spend an hour or so...

    Vaccum lines (help needed)

Haynes? Errr....no - just get the TSRM. The Haynes is horribly inaccurate and not particularly detailed. There's a reason very few people here use anything BUT the TSRM.
