Hey dude, if you are from Utah do you happen to know my buddy Dave LaMay with a burgundy 1jz automatic mk3? He takes it to the drag races all the time out there.
It is a 52mm (2 1/16") gauge size. It installed easily. The digital number display shows vacuum, and then when it goes into boost the leds light around the outside and the numercal led display shows the boost. The led bad around the outisde can be scaled to any boost level you want. That's cool...
Bov's and manifolds fine, but cheap FPR I would not even touch. And I could sell them for that price too, but I'm not going to sell someone something that could possibly fail and distroy their engine. Aeromotive is the way to go, or at least another name brand quality fpr.
The reason H&R springs feel stiff is because you will be sitting on the bump stops. H&R stands for "Hard and Rough" LOL I was just talking to Raul about his mk3 at the meet last night, his car sits way too low with the H&R springs.
That is the new IC we will be using for the 1jz swaps. It fits great! Tucks up nice and routing of the piping is not much longer then stock.
Thanks to HID Planet for the business and the nice review!
Congrats on finding the best deal possible on that mk3, I wish my own car was in...
