Jeff, I ran an auto ecu on my manual for over a year with no problems.......but I'm not sure about a manual on an automatic car. Does the ECU tell it when to shift or does it have it's own little computer box for that?

Yes the 7mgte will fit in a MKIII. You can use a R154 manual transmission or an A340E automatic transmission. You can also use the W58 but they're not as strong as the r154. Good luck.

It could be the sensor Jeff. Do the AFR's stay good during the warmer runs or does it get richer/ leaner?

What? If this won't work, like you CLAIM, I'm going to need a new set of valve covers, unless the jz covers are different than the honda ones. Do you think this will work on a toyota valve cover? Please say yes, I don't have the money for a new set. Would JBweld hold in the holes I've drilled?
