1JZ replacement. Aaron said he's going to get another engine out of the importer, because this is their problem. I really hope they reimburse him for some of the labor.

:cry: :wtc: I guess there's a first time for everything. Just talked to Aaron. They fired the engine and it has a "rod knock" or "valvetrain noise." This SUCKS! Just my fucking luck that I get the one lemon engine in all of the USA. I'm glad it happened at the shop instead of on the way home...

Wow, your monitor must really suck balls. Or maybe you're blind? There are rust stains on the spring. There is no way in hell I would run fuel through that unit, even if fuel doesn't run on that side. The spring is flawed.

Um. Let's see. The XS spring is rusted, the rubber in the XS looks like $#!t, the body of the FPR looks better on the Aeromotive... I could go on, and on, and on. My philosophy? Buy quality parts ONCE! Goddamn MKIII owners are cheap bastards.
