    Exhaust choice/sound related questions.

    Sound insulation is for the weak....plus it's heavy :P. I'm running a 3" turbo back with a divorced downpipe, and it honestly isn't super loud unless I'm pushing the car harder. I can carry on a normal conversation without it being obnoxious. Though...I love the sound of my exhaust :D

    All I can really do is echo what Seven has already said. Even if pretty much everything else is stock, running a free flowing low restriction exhaust system should lower your turbo lag, and bring your boost to 8 or 9psi easy. A stock supra exhaust has 2 CATs as well...getting rid of the one in...

    I've got a 3" turbo back with a divorced downpipe, and it really isn't unbearable loud. Sure, it's noisy enough on the outside that you're louder than the average car, but you can still carry on a proper conversation without trying to yell over the noise.

    Ok, checked into the MAFT Pro stuff and it looks pretty much amazing. Just a quick question on that though. They've got the MAFT Pro and then the vehicle specific MAFT. You need both or is the MAFT Pro standalone?

    How long do you idle for?

    I idle for about 7 - 10 seconds, watch oil pressure go up, and as soon as it levels, I'm off. I keep it below 2500rpm until water temp gets above 110 F

    550s are gonna be necessary to get me up to 15psi? I just don't really want to do that unless for sure necessary because of the freaking AirCare regulations we have up here :(. Curse AirCare!
