also, my chatter seemed to get worse the more i drove it. it would be ok when the car was cold, (backing out and leaving the driveway) but once it got warm, it was on or off.. tried to use the tires as the "clutch" but that just made me look like a noob..

no expert, but same thing happened with my 6puk ebay clutch, except i did the re-surface at the same time., it still chattered like hell. not sure of your mods, but I ended up just using a new stock disk (instead of the 6 puck) and keeping the stage 3 pressure plate. That solved my problems...
