Who did your front bumper work?
Its opened up real wide for the IC vut it doesnt appear to just be cut open. It seems like its been boxed in to look very finished.
Yeah the one I pictured is in SoCal.
But I got lucky and its a friend of a friend who is getting married so he is getting rid of the Supra and his Acura CL-S to get a S2000.
They are an auxillary lamp by design, but if you trim the belly shield it can easily surpass the intensit and distance of a main beam without glare. They come stock with 5000k which would be swapped out for 4100k bulbs. I really dislike blue output.
There is no high beam. Many times this is the...
$500 for mine, no rust, straight body, great interior, 145k miles.
Im replacing the engine so thats where the money is going. The only way you could get 8500 for that car is it had a transplant and a lot of mods with little miles on them.
tekdeus project is similar to what I was thinking.
Maybe not quite that low, but something along those lines. A forward mounted lamp system (now re-thinking about using modified Sylvania x1010) which will illuminate at a correct height when the Supra assemblies are partially opened.
The lighting...
The above statement is true. Once I find the desired height, I will want it to open to that exact height everytime the lights are turned on. Otherwise the lights will not be aimed correctly or consistantly each time.
I will await your reply to my email for a copy of an invoice so I can predict how much things will run. Sorry to hear that you bought a Ranger to haul parts around because I was hoping you would want a Dodge Ram to do the job and go towards the project plus some cash. But since you already have...
Well in my situation, I plan to aim the projectors in a way so when the headlights are partially open, the projectors will be pointing directly down the road and not downwards like the OE headlights would in this position.
It was good talking to you today.
Basically sold me on the project for you to handle.
Now I just have to sell a big lifted Dodge Ram to fund the project and we can get started!
Your statement is very true.
I get hundreds of emails per day asking how they can get a blue colored output etc.
I remind them that the output they see on BMW etc. is not blue and is a result of the prism effect in the projector itself. Far too many times people see the blue colorband when...
Well its actually not as bad as you would think. We do have to repeat ourselves many times, but there is so much info available on the forums that people do tend to see the difference and decide to retrofit rather than use a conversion kit.
Awsome thanks a ton! that will definatly help when the time comes to do it.
As for the earlier statement of a HID H4 Kit, that will never happen. I and the company I run are highly against HID conversion kits because of their glare and output performance. We try our best to educate others on...
OK :) Thanks for the tip.
I ask because in the end, I plan on performing a HID retrofit on the vehicle after the eninge work is completed. I was wondering how it was done so the headlights go down when not in use, but go up partially when the lights are turned ON. I never planned on driving...
Not a problem. I'll make contact with them over the phone anyways.
Sounds like they have a lot on their hands right now and i'll have to schedule myself in if their prices meet my limited budget. I will just have to put off transferring the vehicle to me until they are ready to take it in if...
