lol assuming im reading this right here are the answers to your problems...
1) its a HAC sensor...and it gets attached to the support bar that the hinges of the glovebox get attached to...right in the middle.
2) that hose is for your AC... it runs up and along side the inside of the dash...
this is my take on it...you replaced bearings and thats it correct?
bearings dont need break ins...nor to "seat" the only thing you should be breaking in is your clutch...
and in that case as long as you have no hard shifting...and your varying your rpms and speeds IE: when highway driving...

with bigger piping if anything is lost it will be throttle response...but in 95% of the cases it wont even be noticeable...

personally i wouldnt want my air/fuel device tuning boost also...unless its standalone which all these piggybacks obviously arent. for some reason it bothers me.
the map ecu does have a IAT sensor that has to be purchased to run without the afm...and uses that in tuning purposes.

eh....i beat the living shit out of my car and my 60-1 upgrade lasted over two years and over 20k miles....and i couldnt ask more from it....
i think its mainly where you get it upgraded...how its installed...and thats its PRIMED before starting the car etc....A LOT of people dont prime their...
lol yeah the gauge is 99% of the time the problem...since the light is simply two wires and a resistor it rarely is at fault...
the gauge on the other hand has the damn fuel level sender to deal with...and these normally go bad or stick in spots or just plain stop working...

youll never make it anywhere close to 400 on the stock turbo...and a 57 trim will be running out of breath pretty close to it....
if youre gonna rebuild do it right...resurface the head not just clean it, deck the block, and get a cometic gasket and throw that trd shit away....

umm the one i have IS a good one...it will hold 2 tons and ive pulled probably close to 50 engines and put in about the same amount with it...and it broke because of MY mistake....

lol well with tuning it wont be....and frankly i like that fact that it doesnt just eliminate it all together...still makes you get bigger injectors and a proper tuning device etc.... thumbs up from me...
