Just for the record, I made 293@12psi with the same basic mods you listed. That's pretty average for a 1J with freed up exhaust. No boost controller. You drove kyle's car right? So you know what to expect. Stock twins will keep you happy for a good while.

From reading SF, alot of guys who drive their cars on the street often with a TH400 really regretted it to some extent and wish they still had a Toyota trans(6spd or built auto). Not all but alot.
