I think the above posts can be summed up in the following:
Do it as if you were taking off a bandaid from your hairy leg.
Tear it off quick. Sure its gonna hurt, but you'll get over it.
Whereas if you stay with her for the rest of your life, just imagine that bandaid being pulled off...

If the center bearing is bad, can it cause shakes when engaging the clutch.
My old clutch would shake the car when engaged from a stop and when downshifting.
My brand new clutch and brand new flywheel do the same thing. Why????
Is the center bearing at fault????
