all you have to do is line the shift linkage in the tranny with the line on the tranny you might need a rag to clean it off to see the line but i believe if you push it all the way foward then take it back 2 times it should be in nuetral I believe good luck :biglaugh:

mabye it's your injector resisitor. Im currntly doing a swap on my 91na to turbo and I bought a jdm engine to and the injector resitor was something I didnt have so whenever I went to crank my car all it would do is mabye turnover one time and then you would smell gas like its everywhere but...

but it's not an 88 ecu it's a early 89 ecu and all I want to know is will a 89+ fit the early ecu thanks

alright but will a 89+ wiring harness work with the pre89 ecu thats basicaly my main question sorry if it's hard to understand what I'm asking thanks for the info it helps alot and if it will work with the ecu what sensors will I have to change to use with the 89+ harness

No it's not an 88 it's the early 89 with grey connectors thanks for the help anyways
