    aftermarket gauges

    For boost, you can T in right behind the intake manifold. There's a vacuum port back there. You can get a sandwich adapter plate that's tapped for a sensor (for oil press. & temp). What temp gauge did you get?

    power windows/gauge cluster dead :(

    The same thing happened to me awhile ago. It seems the previous owner tapped something into the dimmer switch and it shorted. It took me awhile, but after many blown fuses later, I finally traced it down to that switch. Are you sure there isn't anything that shorted?

    Strange BOV problem

    Is it the old style (with the screw in the back) or the new style (w/o the screw). If it's the one with the screw, try loosening it. If it's the new kind, the BOV may be faulty.
