the stock o2 is completely gone. the signal wire on the harness is not cut(white wire on 88 harness) and the purple wire from the maftpro harness is connected to the vf signal wire on the ecu harness. with that setup i get no reading from my vf parameter on the maftpro sensormonitor screen...
did some reading and found my answer. once the stock o2 (or any narrowband signal) isnt sending a signal to the ecu vf signal will be 0.00v.
i guess now i can use that aux1 wire for a trigger. :) maybe for meth inj kit :)
I was wondering if I still expect to see a vf signal in the aux1 when u setup for part throttle tracking? Considering the stock o2 is no longer in the mix and the maftpro is adjusting the airfuel mix via info it get from my wideband. On my sensor page in the maftpro I just see 0.01v now in my...
problem is still there but to a lesser extent. i will check the wiring and some other stuff. i would like some clarification on part throttle disengagement. how do you turn if off? i mean which parameters need to be adjusted and what settings are need to be entered. i want to make sure that isnt...
real quick question. the maftpro has a black wire connected to the E1 computer ground. now theres another ground for the maftpro that needs to get connected to the wideband ground wire. should i take maftpro/wideband ground wires and have them share the same E1 computer ground so all the grounds...
I've been working at my wideband reading issue for the past few days and so far the progress I've made has been sort of minor. I've gotten some progress. 1st off when I first turn on the car the maftpro afr reading shows 14ish as does my wideband(cold motor). Then about a min or so the maft afr...
Ok my wideband is actually a plx r-500 it has a wideband output wire and that's the wire that I have going into the maftpro wideband input wire. I will check my wiring to make sure I don't have any loose connections.
im sorry i really dont fully understand what u meant? did u just combine both wideband outputs from your wideband and connect them the the maftpro wideband signal input?
on the maftpro head unit it shows the same afr readings that the laptop shows (10ish) but on the wideband unit im seeingg 14ish afr reading. mind u the wb o2 is fine. the thing is only a few months old. no race fuel used on it. this is with the engine not up to normal operating temps if u needed...
ok heres some info im looking at which might be the things i need to figure out. on my wideband unit there two output that im not sure 100% which one would be the better to use. one is afr configurable output the other is afr m series linear output. currently i have the linear output...
no im using my flux capacitor to run the laptop. but seriously though i set up the maftpro to read the output of my plx wideband. i know theres a number which must be set on the maftpro but im not near my car at the moment. im running maftpro version 4.65 and i am pretty certain the wiring is...
I noticed today that while on my laptop using tunerpro my readings for wideband was showing 10:1 but my actual plx wideband was showing me a reading of about 14.6:1 has anyone had this same issue? What should I be looking for to fix this? Thanks for any advise.
just curious where did you guys find the power source for the boost controller. by that i mean wire provided you with the 12v. thanks im about to install mine and just wanted to get some opinions on where i can get my power from.
well i did the coil mod today and it worked out fine. i gotta admit that the stock is300 wire look so thin compared to the nkg wires i had with my stock coils. i will eventually get the hks DLI so my ignition setup will be done.
