well you could always disconnect a fuel line for a few secs to see if any fuel is going to the engine, also the knock sensor will make the car drive very poor like there is no acceleration at all. good luck though.

were you able to drive it back from the shop? i would think after a few drives or whatever it would throw new codes..also i would check your timing, my dads old truck after it was rebuilt the timing was off and it felt like it was under a heavy load though it was just the 2 of us in it. anyways...

i got a radiator hose as a temp replacement from autozone.

get it running and take it to autozone or any auto parts store and have them hook up a tester, its free and they will tell you whether its battery or alt. good luck.

i had overheating problems with no signs of bhg but removed the head and found the hg was bad i also replaced the radiator at the same time. but before that i did the tstat (to my surprise there wasn't one), rad cap and every other simple thing even flushed the radiator and still overheated...
