you're preachin to the choir here, detonation is the inherent evil when temps rise as you know, keeping the intake charge temp low saves many a motor and allows dramatic hp increases. I'd love to have a cheap mean of lowering my temps more....

right you are, I should have said almost all conditions, there again the imperatives for the production auto are cost and performance over the broadest range possible.

you can do anything, in a production auto A2A is the cheapest most effective means of across the board lower intake temps in all conditions

Beautiful day, took the opportunity to drive the Supra to work which I rarely do anymore and on the outskirts of town where I always get the first WOT, whoosh.... ahh yea baby, typ. 1.5 bar and pop! I knew what it was immediately, a/f wild rich, hear whirr of turbo, can't give no throttle...

I did that but found that just a few weeks later it had re-oxidized and back to looking like crap, I am resigned to the fact that I need a new paint job or wear myself out doing similar to what you did every couple weeks

mine was a custom from the converter wholesaler in town, a Toy front plate, Chrysler spacer and GM back. It was setup to stall at 3500 but actually stalls at 2700 :(

with regard to the cps, I install it by the book then if it doesn't start turn one tooth in either direction. It doesn't ever seem to be right the first time

I do it all the time, you need to know what you are looking for, what it should cost and most important.... make sure the seller is minimum in the high 90's if not 100% Of course some stuff is pure scam like some turbos, ics, etc.
