has she considered swapping in a cheaper aftermarket amp?
My Kicker 4 channel amp was $300, and it pushes 850w RMS. Aftermarket amps that'll run factory speakers wouldn't be more than $100. Installation wouldn't be as straight forward, but it should definitely work.
Mine only has slight drone and my exhaust consists of a Ebay DDP, 3" Stainless Steel 935 motorsports DIY piping, with a Vibrant performance resonator and a Apexi WS2 out back, all 3". It sounds really nice, quiet, and [again] has slight drone at certain rpms.
I just changed that.. and all the shims for the hub, including snap rings. Changed no less than 2 months ago actually.
And mine sounds more like one of those automatic can openers. Only when you leave it in neutral with the clutch pedal out.

yeah... but the stock oil pressure gauge is still gonna take 3 seconds to tell you that you have no oil pressure. as opposed to an aftermarket one that will drop instantly when you lose pressure.

I had these springs coupled with some Koni Adjustables. But I changed to some coilovers because the car was too low for Houston roads.
