Your original post is a bit confusing. You say your honda has 13 wires and the head unit harness has 12...that's fine. Then you say there is another black wire? Is that 'another' wire which would mean there are actually 13 on the deck's harness? In most cases black wires are 'ground'...

lol...well it wasn't for no reason. It smoothed out the idle quite nicely. But now it runs smooth all the time on it's own...makes me happy! :)

Problem Solved. I removed the EGR and replaced it with block off plates. The problem is now resolved! It was either the EGR vacuum modulator or the EGR itself. Either way, all is good. Hope this helps.

The easiest way to diagnose a problem like this is the process of elimination. Pull out the speaker that isn't working. Hook it up to your home stereo or something that you know is good. If it doesn't work, you know it's the speaker. If it does.... Pull out the deck. Find the wires...
