My 88 non turbo supra overheated and now it taps loudly. A mechanic told me it's probably the main bearings. I sure hope he's wrong. I have to pull the block out to replace the main bearings, right? I have the head pulled off and I'm hoping I can just get off easy back replacing possible bad...
