well i changed the cam cover gaskets and i ended up having to replace that same hose too. and it was doing the same thing. rough idle at one part, than fine at another part. i ended up checking my codes and it was code 51 with is the throttle possition sensor. so maybe try that?

i just checked in mm's and the cressida is 66.01mm and the supra is 63.89mm

ok. well i just took apart that enginw from post #1 and i got the piston. and i think i beat you guys. check out this piston. this one i was showing that the rod is stuck like that and not able to sway like a normal piston. and thats an indention in the piston. its about an 3/4 of an inch long.

what else can you do with an n/a and no money and a nice mkiii. make it look good, sell it, buy a turbo supra.

to me it looks like a mechanic cut and put a splicer on it to flush the system. my is very similiar just on a different hose. but yeah you have to buy both sides. i would think that if you went to autozone or something, it wouldn't be more that like 10-15 bucks.
