Probably a good idea, but im not so sure its nessecary to change the filter right away, though it wouldnt really hurt. just take some out and check the level.. but if you do drain it fully, make sure when you refill it, you run it through the gears a few times before you check the level... and...

in my opinion, thats a bit much to ask of a car in that condition, You will need valve cover gaskets, clean up the spark plug galley, Im not sure what the euro package is? unless its just different lights n stuff. Clutches arent that cheap, no adjustment its hydraulic. switch cheap to replace...

the clutch is made of 2 pieces and the springs are set between the hub and the clutch bodies. When you slam it ( drop the clutch, or even ease into it), the spring dampens the torsional force. why not just buy a motor to drop in the 86.5 then? theres no definitive cost, it depends on how good of a bargainer/shopper you are, and how thorough of a job you do. you could get a complete motor somewhere in the 1000 dollar range , but theres no guarantee how well itll work for ya.
