 mine has 4 studs... and 4 nuts hold the fan/clutch assembly in place on top of the pulley... the same studs hold the pulley in place... all you have to do is remove the fan/clutch assembly
i simply don't trust e-bay sellers, or sketchy ct upgrades... not saying there aren't decent upgrades... but some just don't seem like they would be very reliable
i actually already did this but w/ epoxy... i'm not claiming the idea, just saying, i had a jdm motor w/ pits on the block deck... after all, i'm on the "keep it running till i'm out of college" motor, not aiming for any high hp #'s
just thought i'd mention this... but i don't know about your supra... but mine is pretty much idiot proof :dunno:... i'd really like to know, first of all, how the hell you managed to lock your keys in?
89 turbo... only car i have now, and i'm living on my own at college, so, yes, i drive it EVERY day... mods are in my profile... about 350 bhp right now
also thought i'd note it was the lightest of the s13's... around 2,050 lbs w/o driver
thought i'd also note that i have the heaviest of any supra year/package combo... 89 turbo, targa, 5 speed
i may do this, but now, i don't really see the need. I know what area is "operating temp." on my gauge (about 3/7 mark), but if it's cold out, it won't rise above 1/5 :icon_conf
hm... any way to make it warm up more? is there a higher-temp thermostat i can aquire?
the thing is... it's a stock cooling system too, although the water pump and rad. are new... i'm just wondering what people w/ koyo, or other high performance radiators do during the winter
