Sorry I didn't get pictures up last night, I tried to upload them to photbucket today around lunchtime but it wouldn't let me. It just did so here they are.
I haven't yet sealed them back up with the new butyl, but I will soon. I also still need to use some JB Weld or some sort of epoxy to...
I would insist that they pay you for the new parts you need, and that they compensate you for your time that you will spend fixing this. They should not have been doing any of that for an alignment.
Yeah I will get some pictures up later tonight.
I'm going to wait until I get them fully finished and sealed to take them anywhere. Once they are in the car you can definitely check them out. I just don't want to risk breaking it or so by moving it around more than necessary. I've got a lot of...
Anyway you could get another car that would fit the family and keep the supra? It sounds like you really like your car and don't want to get rid of it.
It fits! I just screwed it in with the longer screws and it appears that everything fits. Ill finish up this one and get some pictures.
Should look good when you are done, it sounds like quite the project compared to mine.
That's what I just did. I went to Lowes and bought some sort of roof flashing or so. I' not really sure what it was but it was only 84 cents and it was thin aluminum like I needed. I cut it into a half inch strip and spaced it out. Now the projector clears the lens, but it sticks out farther...
Well I spent a good bit of time today working on one of the housings. I dremeled out everything inside of the circle on the light where the rubber boot goes over and then took a file and got everything as far back as I could without filing through the housing and creating a hole. I got a 2 inch...
OK, thanks. I've read about people spacing the plastic lens out from the housing body using strips of aluminum so that the projector fits without having to cut the housing, but I'm not sure how secure that would be. I'm leaning towards doing it the way you did, or kind of like this guy did...
Thanks! Yeah its original paint, I got the car with 70k original miles, now it has close to 86k miles. The previous owner was an old lady who's husband was a part owner of a Toyota dealer and bought her the car new. The paint is pretty good except for the bumpers are a little faded and there is...
Nice, I like the new signature too. I've got a silver 87. I think its one of the best silvers for a car. I love the purple tint it has. Nice fastback Mustang also, my dads got a Torino Fastback.
