I tried that already. The stock tach will not work. Problem is that the stock tach is weighted to work with the needle the way it is. When you move the needle to the straight down position, the tach does not move anymore, because of how it's weighted to move. It's like if you use an 89+ tach...
Just got these a few months ago from ebay. They work excellent. No cracks so far and braking is much much better. I used lifetime warranty full metallic pads from advance auto parts. Just waiting for my ss braided lines...
A few years ago in WRC cars, they plumbed the blow off valve into the exhaust before the turbo. So when you let off the gas, all the air from the intake pipes flowed right out to the turbo keeping it spinning. Probably didn't work too good, no one is using them anymore.... it's an idea...
