SBC/LS1 with R154, anyone done it?

The GM PCM can be set up as a stand alone and infinitely tuned for almost anything you want(turbo, nitrous etc.) including multiplying the VSS signal from the trans to a usable signal. The PCM will use this signal for maximizing fuel economy and driveability in a non electronic trans and is...

No pics yet. I'm just amassing parts before I get started. I'll start a build thread soon. Supposed to receive the TRD disc Fri. and will post pics, part#'s and measurements. The AA disc is made by Centerforce with a part#101211821AD, not sure if it translates to anything. I went ahead and...

SBC/LS1 with R154, anyone done it?

Try the TRD disc for an FJ Cruiser, it's bigger than the one from Advance Adapters. I have the one from Advance Adapters and it is 10.25 inches in diameter, but listed as 10.5 inches. I set this up on the LS6 clutch pressure plate I have and there is about 3/8" that will be unswept on the disc...

    2jz swap not starting

Check the wiring to your afm. This can cut off your fuel pump through the "COR" circuit opening relay. You will need a digital meter to test these connections for continuity and voltage.

Loooking for advice on finishing cement

After you've poured and screeded wait until the water has sunk below the surface. Trowel over the area with a thin metal trowel(not a mag trowel) to smooth it, kneel on a piece of plywood so as not to leave prints. If you're looking for a broom finish pull your broom across and you're done. If...

    Need help!!! R154

If the trans is still connected to the motor, and the pressure plate has not been unbolted from the flywheel, it will pull right out. If you unbolted the pressure plate you need to bolt it back to the flywheel.

    Quick Questions - 2jz swap?

I'm running a 2JZ out of an SC300 with a 7M turbo harness and ECU. Currently running it NA with no issues aside from it running a little rich with the 440 injectors in it. My car was already manual so I can't really help you with running the auto trans. The 7M ECU has plenty of growth room in it...

    Cam position sensor o-ring

You got it right on the location of the o-ring. I'm not sure where else you could get one other than the dealer. I would highly suggest you get it from Toyota. A few people have had their cars catch on fire from an oil leak there. Toyota part #90099-14088 $2.50. HTH

    89 Harness in 92, 91, 90????? Wiring experts Please!

Should be no reason why you cant do this. Just use a multimeter to verify the pins in your '89 harness are connected to the same items in the B1 plug in the diagram provided(ignore the 1JZ side) and repin them to a B1 plug accordingly. Hope this helps
