You definitely can make decent power on a composite head gasket as long as the rest of the engine is in good/decent condition, but it would just be best to go mhg. It also may not be the sensor that's bad, you may just have to rewire it.

Yeah, there are a lot of quality parts on eBay but there are also a lot of parts that are of poor quality. Just be careful when purchasing parts off eBay
