I was going to replace the slave but i am getting movment out of it and no signs of leaks. I was thinking getting a longer rod for the slave so it pushes the fork more?
Looks to be a washer. the hub will not move back or forth with the slave installed. If i remove the slave i can move the hub back/forth slightly. I dont see this being the problem but just wanted to mention it.
I did not change the slave as it dose not appear to be leaking. I did have the flywheel cut prior to installing the trans it was stepped. Its a new spec clutch. I reused the hub. Not familiar with the pull style setups.
update: I replaced the master and bled the system of air. I also adjusted the pedal, but im still having the same issue. The clutch grabs high and still cant shift into first or second after driving and coming to a stop. the slave moves the fork a bit more than 1/2 and inch which looks ok. I...
Well replacing the clutch master did not solve my issue. Still doing the same thing. If i pump the clutch pedal a few times i can get it into gear. I will try replacing the slave and try again. Also how heavy should the pedal feel? As it is now it seems pretty light and it has a performance clutch.
I just finished a 1jz swap in a friends mk3. When the car is running and not moving I can shift into all gears. When im in first and start driving I get locked out of second. I shift to third and now cant get back into second or first unless I come to a complete stop. I was thinking syncros...
DR tweek made a new harness adapter to be installed inplace of the big green relay. I was having the same issue. I installed the item from him and the car starts like it should. It also doesnt let the fuel pump always run with key on.
Where is everyone mounting there 1JZ ecu's? It wont fit where the stock one bolts up. I tried tucking it near the pass door my the blower motor but then the glove box wont fit. Pics would be a big help. Thanks!
OK so I grounded the green wire and it would run but like I thought will run with key on. Is there anyway to wire it so it works like factory through the co/r?
I have that same relay. I will look for the green wire today. Are there inertia switch's on these cars? If so maybe can just tap into that so incase of an accident the fuel will stop running. I also assume if you just run that green wire to a body ground it will always stay running with key on.
