What about having a large hose as a "tank" of sorts for the boost pressure to fill up as it vents so it has a cushion to overcome the restriction or the 90*??
If you give him back the deposit whats the point of a deposit to begin with?? If he cant pay he losses the deposit and the next guy with cash gets the wheels.
Its not hard to convert a car to E85. I personally know 4 Mk4 supra's running corn juice. A good friend has built all 4 of them. Another friend has a world record holding evo on E85 he built himself. Its not hard at all and its not inconsistent at all or racers wouldnt use it. Consistency is...
Where should the filter go?? I would think from the cooler to the reservoir. Because if its like stock and goes between the pump and res. it could restrict flow and cause the problems the metal screen does.
I had a 89 turbo that I BHG. I towed it on a dolly with the drivehshaft and front bumper pulled 455 miles with a 2wd F-150 and 300ci I6 on the bumper. It did it just fine. I had the truck since new and trusted it. The frane was solid and no rust anywhere. High grade bolts held the bumper...
Octane booster does just about nothing but empty your wallet. If you read the bottles most of them only increase the octane rating by 0.1 point. Some are a little more. Get 93+ and a tune or turn your boost down.
I have my battery relocated to the backseat and the engine bay in my supra was thrown together by the previous owner. All the brackets are missing that hold the stock res. in place and the res. itself is missing the mounting brackets. I have a aluminum res that I pulled from an old race car...
Nevermind. I found a PPS rack at autozone. Wish me luck with this. I have never had anything from there last half as long as it should but hopefully I get lucky.
I have a 1990 turbo with TEMS and PPS rack. The parts store gave me a non PPS rack by accident. Is it possible for me to go ahead with the swap?? I already have the old one out and I gotta get this car fixed ASAP. Can I put this rack in the car without any major problems??
Cruise does not work. The cables aren't even hooked up. The cruise light on the dash lights up though when you try to use it. Tomorow I'll get the rear tires off the ground and try and use cruise and see if the motor pulls on the cruise cable. The original problem is a wandering idle from 900...
OK. Ill check that out. Another question. My car used to be an auto and is now a 5 speed. It starts and drives fine so it thinks its in neutral correct?? Or do I need to do some more digging on that?? I bought the car with the swap so I have no idea what has been done to the wiring.
OK. I have been scanning with the engine off. Should I start the engine then jump the TPS connector and see if I still have a code 51?? I am jumping between the bottom 2 pins as if it was plugged into the TPS. To find the wires that I need to check out at the ECU just look at the TSRM??
Ok. I followed that thread and found out some part of my wiring is bad. I get a code 51 with a jumper in the bottom 2 pins on the wiring harness. Any suggestions??
You need to turn your lights off by yourself. The timer fools the car into thinking the key is still on. Just turn your lights off yourself. They are flipups so its easy to notice if they are still on.
