Habanero, I would suggest an AFPR be installed and bring the fuel pressure down and see if this has any effect on your fuel/air mixture. It is an easy installation if you get the install kit for the 7M.
You need to add some adjustability to your setup with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or a fuel controller like the SAFC, seal up your exhaust leaks, and especially any leaks in the air intake system after the MAF. I think there may be some major leakage happening if your turbo is dropping...
Oh, I think the full exhaust and stock wheel upgrade is one of the best combos on a 7m. Considering the stock exhaust is like having a cork stuck in the tailpipe and a compressor wheel barely able to feed a 1.5L 8v 4 cylinder.

All I can say is "try it try it you will see". It's a cheaper than an e-boost controller that works. I've been in the turbo game a long time and I've used this mod on the cheap. E-boost controllers work even better with this.
