I also strongly advise a chemical stripper as well, the metal surface MUST be absolutely clean for the gasket to bond properly to the surfaces.

I read that article... still, after swapping all the stuff one might just change it for preventative maintenance. Besides, I had to change it after experiencing a huge pressure drop on my gauge at anything over 4k RPM. It made me cry.

Takes just a few minutes to install with that kit... then set your base and voila! Start tweaking.

Yes the plug must be removed to get access to the screw adjustment. Habanero, I would suggest an AFPR be installed and bring the fuel pressure down and see if this has any effect on your fuel/air mixture. It is an easy installation if you get the install kit for the 7M.

I went over your mod list again from another thread. How much fuel are you pulling with the SAFC?

You need to add some adjustability to your setup with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or a fuel controller like the SAFC, seal up your exhaust leaks, and especially any leaks in the air intake system after the MAF. I think there may be some major leakage happening if your turbo is dropping...
