So I didn't see a thread about doing a gte swap in a n/a supra. Im just wondering what I have to buy besides the engine, trans, wiring and ecu to make this swap complete. Any info?

What amp fuse did you use? I have the same year supra as u do...87 right n/a right? Can you buy them at autozone?

Are you sure that's gunna work? My supra is sitting 2 hours away and I don't wana waste my gas! Did you have the same problem? Will the fuse plug right into the socket

Ok what size and kind of fuse...I don't know much bout this kinda stuff! I know the fusible link is a 80 amp so im guessing use the same for the fuse? And do I need to get a box fuse? The 1s with the clear plastic cover on them?

At first yes I did...I think I blew the fusible link (ALT 1.25B)

I just have a quick question for you. I bought a 1j out of a soarer and im confused about the plugs. Do you cut EB1 and EB2 off completely? And the 7M plugs that I have to use are they on the engine harness or the body harness? Thanks

What other parts do I need for the swap besides the mounts? I already bought the BIC brackets with poly mounts...

Ok! It has CP pistons in it and im pretty sure eagle rods! Im not sure bout the compression ratio but the previous owner told me its turbo ready so idk! If I go 1j what should I look for to know its from a jza70?

Well idk! The 7m that's in it is built so idk if I should just put a gte head on and throw a 50 trim on it or I shud spend the money and do a 1j swap! I have access to a auto 1j im guessing from a soarer so I don't know what to do

So if I pick up a 1jz from a jza70 I shouldn't have to do any major modifications to the harness besides extending it about 3ft
