Hey guys, I was just wondering how much weaker an '89 block will be if it is bored .20 over. Will it be able to handle upwards of 400HP without being sleeved or anything like that? I am already planning on having ARP everything, (rods, mains, and head).

what is the "brain to key board filter"?

I have been told before that i can run .40" over pistons in that block by an experienced machine shop. Is .40" different from 3mm? I'm not as knowing in this area as i should be thats why i am asking. thanks for the help.

i just had one of the craziest ideas i've come up with since deciding to build my 7M. i was wondering if it is possible to run 2J pistons with 7M rods. a friend of mine told me that ARP studded rods can handle up to 750hp. i am only shooting for 600 or so. i want to try and use .20" over 2J rods...

this is a problem i tackled by cutting the plenum off of the runners and using a piece of 1/4" aluminum as my base. i then welded on a piece of 6" exhaust piping. i worked it down to runner number 6 so that i would have equal velocity at all of the runners. i then used a piece of 1/2" aluminum...
